I'm a nonfiction writer and journalist, originally from Oregon. When not writing or reading a book, I tend to be surfing or fishing.

Currently, I serve as a general assignment reporter for the Keizertimes, covering sports, community news, and other Keizer-related affairs.

It's there that I also exercise my multimedia muscles, managing our social media and creating quality videos to attract a broader audience.

My original background is in the Humanities, namely philosophy, theology, and literature. In previous publications, I've analyzed existentialism in Terrance Malick films and dissected the spiritual undercurrents of surfing.
